There is a Right Golf Swing Sequence

If you’re a complete newbie then you might not be familiar with the fact that there is a correct golf swing sequence. Most pros know every point that occurs during their golf swing, so don’t feel bad if you’re struggling with you swing sequence. Most pros also have a dedicated swing coach to analyze and tweak their swing sequence sometimes as often as daily. This is the most difficult part of the game to master initially. Once you’ve developed a repetitive and consistent golf swing sequence it’s all about tweaking from there on out.,

Of course like everything in golf, the swing sequence is not different in that it has a lot of rules attached to it. When we watch Tiger or VJ Singh on TV it all looks so effortless, but in reality there are a lot of things going on in their mind to prepare for that shot. First off the right club, then how to catch the ball with that club, the right stance, swing power and more.

The average amateur golfer has a difficult time mastering a golf swing sequence because you may only get out once a week. How ever with practice, and knowing what your abilities are you can begin to tweak your golf swing, and every component about it.

Golf and its basic rules

So what questions must you ask yourself before you even address the ball to take a swing at it? First of all what club, which club will provide you with the right distance, loft, and control to make the shot you need to make on your next golf swing. From there knowing how to position your hands, and body around the ball to make that shot happen. Then if we want to get right down to the nitty gritty, how should the club head strike the ball on the swing to make that shot. These are a few of the basic rules of every golf swing you take. Seems like a lot but as you practice they all become second nature.

So this leads us to …What is the correct golf swing sequence?

There is as mentioned a proper swing sequence. We can break it down into three steps. The back swing, down swing, and then the impact to follow through. Most amateur golfers make their initial mistakes during the back swing, not having the correct mechanics to keep their swing sequence in check, and thus causing the club head not to strike the ball at the correct angle or position in the down swing.

What can effect the back swing? Your position to the ball, your posture, grip on the club, shoulder movement and very likely 101 other things if we really want to be picky. How can this be corrected? For each person it can be different, but having a base to work form is the best starting point. Either taking some simple lessons, or purchasing some good information will show you the right way to take your back swing, down stroke then transfer your weight through the follow through.

We all want that beautiful fluid looking golf swing, but sometimes it takes some ugly and cumbersome drills to get there. The key is to stick at it, and get yourself the right tools to make it happen.

If you’re really committed to learning a good golf swing sequence then consider investing in this system to help you with your mechanics and technique. Remember, golf is a continuous learning process, and only by learning more can we reach our goals in this crazy game.
