Tiger Woods Golf Return in Augusta

Tiger Woods is ready to get back into his golfing career after a short hiatus. He announced a personal sabbatical last December amid a firestorm of cheating and prescription drug allegations. He lost three of his major sponsors during his short time away and many have wondered what kind of effect his personal life will have on his golfing ability.

The world will get to find out at the upcoming Augusta National Master’s event. The golf event is being held at a male only club, which seems a bit ironic for the Woods, a notorious womanizer. His return to golf may not be televised due to the club’s strict media rules. This reason alone is likely the major deciding factor in his choice to return to the golf world.

Many in the golf world are not happy to see the golfer return so quickly after his debacle. They fear his antics will be the highlight of any event and golf will be overshadowed by his personality. Others worry a win, would give the golfer a triumphant comeback after his own personal destruction campaign.

The champ’s return event is scheduled for April 8-11. Organizers for the event are deciding who will pair up with the paparazzi magnet.
