Why is Golfing in May so Difficult?

by golfer on May 7, 2010

Every time around this time of year many golfers ask themselves the same old quesiotn – “why is golf always so difficult to play in May?

The simple answer is this – its because you did not play during the winter. Keeping in touch with your game, your swing and your rhythm is the essentials of golf, and when you lose that connection it takes some time to regain it. That’s why golf is so difficult, and that is exactly why golf becomes so much easier in the summer, because most golfers have already had the chance to work out a little, visit the range and start to think a little more about golf (when driving to work, for example…)

But even in these late spring months you have a good chance to lose a lot of time on fixing the winter damge rather than really playing, and this is why I practice at home. There are tools that you could use to keep you in touch with your golf skills, one of which is a simple DVD that will teach and enhance your full swing, the sweet thing about it is that it costs less then an average tee time these days, and will have you golfing better and more consistant than before, that’s all we ask for…
